What you need:

1. Signup with Anime Fantisia P2P
2. Download WinMX 3.1

Installing and Configuring WinMX

1. Double click the .EXE file after you have downloaded WinMX.
2. Choose a folder to install

As soon as the program is installed WinMX will load its setup:

1. Choose a username.
2. Choose the folder where incoming files will be saved
3. Choose file type to share. Some users like to share .txt files in order to send messages to everyone who browse them.
4. Choose a folder to share
5. Specify your connection type
6. WinMX will run a small test in order to improve your connection. If it fails don't worry it won't change nothing.
7. Finally choose the color scheme you like.

Connecting to Anime Fantasia.

When you open WinMX that's what you will see:

1. Disconnect from WinMX Peer Network to avoid having people outside Anime Fantasia downloading files from you.
2. Press the OpenNap Protocol Networks button.
3. Press the add button.

You will see the following screen:

Fill in the blanks like this:

• Network: Anime Fantasia
• Address : p2p.animeshare.com (yes, that's right, animesharef it doesn't work add a :8875 after the adress)
• Press "Meta Redirect Server" button
• Type your username and the password that was sent to you.
• DON'T MIND THE OPTION: "Send files using obsolete '100' command" as it says "use for compatibility only" (You may want to CHECK it if you have no success.)

That's how it should be now:

After you added this server do the same with all the others below. All you have to do is change the addresses.

• p2p.animeshare.com
• opennap.animeshare.com
• opennap.animeshare.net
• nap.animeshare.com
• nap.animeshare.net

After you have added all the servers you will see something like this:

To those who likes to connect DIRECTLY to the servers do the following:

• Choose a .net server
• Edit it to use "Normal Server" instead of "Meta Redirect Server
• Type :2124 after the .net in the ADDRESS field (be sure to put a colon before the port).

Now just press the connect button.

You still can't connect to AnimeFantasia?

Possible causes:

• Server full. Nothing to do here, just wait sometime or try other server.
• Can't find host = Click on the + icon and look for the server that says "Can't Find Host" and highlight/choose it, then click on Edit. Check if you did everything correctly. Otherwise the server is down
• Refused = the client refused your connection (various reasons)
• Reconnecting too fast. Just wait some time
• Incorrect Login/Password. Type then again
• Connection reset by peer.

If after all these stuffs, if you have triple-checked everything and it still don't works, you still can't connect, kindly post your problem at WinMX 3.1 Help and tell me the exact NOTICE the server made. It looks like this:

It might not be "Host not found", I need to know the exact message notice created by WinMX. In the above example, the notices are "Host not found" and "Connection reset by peer".

Finally, before doing so, be sure that you have set-up WinMX 3.1 correctly.
